Dodgers News: Chris Taylor Scratched from Sunday’s Lineup
Minutes before game time, the Dodgers announced an update lineup that saw Sheldon Neuse taking the place of Chris Taylor in the lineup and at second base.
Updated lineup:
Betts CF
Muncy 1B
Turner 3B
Beaty LF
Lux SS
Raley RF
Neuse 2B
Barnes C

Taylor was scratched with right wrist soreness according to Joe Davis in game. Earlier in the season, the utility man missed time after getting hit by a pitch on the elbow.
In 35 games this season, CT3 has triple slashed .288/.425/.483 (.908 OPS), becoming one of the most consistent run producers in the lineup. He’s also seen time all around the lineup and on the field, starting games in centerfield, left field, right field, shortstop and second base. With Corey Seager now out for at least a month, Taylor’s presence became that much more important for Dave Roberts.
Ideally, this will be a one and done day off.

I sure hope so because he’s such a valuable piece right now w/ Pollock, Belli, Z. Mck., and now Seager out. He can fill in for anyone of those guys anytime anywhere. The bottom half of line-up looks weak today w/out CT3. Hope the 6th,7th, 8th can step it up and produce.
