Dodgers News: Clayton Kershaw Believes He Will Be Back This Season | VIDEO
More good news for Dodger fans! Los Angeles Dodgers Ace Clayton Kershaw says that he is confident that he will be back on the mound for the Dodgers this season. Kershaw traveled with the team to Cincinnati and met with reporters prior to the teams series opener vs. the Reds.
After going down on the disabled list in late June, due to a herniated disc in his back, Kershaw has been rehabbing and working hard to get back out on the field with his teammates. He has even had a few throwing sessions at Dodger Stadium.

He seems to be progressing very nicely as he threw off flat ground on Friday. Kershaw says that he is feeling good and looks forward to throwing off the mound as he has a scheduled bullpen session in Cincinnati on Saturday.

But, due to the fact that the Boys in Blue have stepped up their game just as Kershaw went down, this has bought the Dodger’s ace some more time to rest up.
There is no pressure for Kershaw to rush his rehab process now that the Dodgers have worked their way back to the top of the NL West. But, it will be quite exciting to see No. 22 back on the mound for the Dodgers.
In regards to when we should plan to see Kersh back on the mound, Dodger rumors are that Dodger’s ace seems to be keeping his return date to himself.
Kershaw said there is "a good plan" in place that will allow him to contribute by end of season. Going to keep that plan "under wraps"
