Dodgers News: Games 4 And 5 Times For Dodgers-Braves Series Released
The Dodgers made a statement in their Game 1 win last night as Clayton Kershaw struck out 12 in seven innings and the offense chased Braves starter Kris Medlen after 4+ innings.
With Game 2 about to get underway and the Game 3 start time already announced for 5:07 pm PST on Sunday, before first pitch today, David O’Brien of the Atlanta-Journal Constitution tweeted the Game 4 and 5 start times, if necessary:
Final game times released: Game 4 in LA on Monday would be 9:37 p.m. ET and Game 5 in ATL on Wednesday would be 8:37 p.m. ET
— David O’Brien (@ajcbraves) October 4, 2013
Hyun-Jin Ryu will face Julio Teheran in Game 3, while Ricky Nolasco would face Freddy Garcia in Game 4 on October 7, if necessary. Zack Greinke is on the mound this afternoon and will oppose Braves lefty Mike Minor as the Dodgers look to take a commanding 2-0 series lead.
Andre Ethier got good news that he could potentially stay in the game after pinch-hitting depending on the situation as he’s hopeful about a return to the field for Game 3 on Sunday.
Before these game times matter, the Braves will need to get back into the series as Greinke looks to put the Dodgers ahead 2-0 in the best-of-five matchup.
