Dodgers News: Justin Turner Exits Game Early on Thursday with an Injury

While the Dodgers were in the midst of a wild game, Justin Turner was removed early on Thursday night against the Giants. The team said he left due to abdominal tightness.

Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic was among those to report.

The Dodgers lost a 5 run lead but ultimately regained a 9-6 advantage over the visiting San Francisco team en route to their NL-leading 61st win of the season.

The veteran Turner had gone 1-3 with a 2-run double in the third inning. On the season, JT has posted a .253 average with a .731 OPS. He was replaced by Jake Lamb as the designated hitter for LA.

More to come on the severity of the injury in the postgame media update.
