Dodgers News: Justin Turner Placed on 10-Day DL
Justin Turner is the 19th Dodger to hit the DL this season.
Turner was injured running the bases in yesterday’s win over Miami. He’s apparently strained his right hamstring.
Today, the #Dodgers placed Justin Turner on the 10-day DL (right hamstring strain) and recalled Brett Eibner from Triple-A Oklahoma City.

It’s a significant loss for the Dodgers. Turner had been the primary source of offense. He hit over .400 in the year’s first month, since tailing off to .379.
After a 27-homer 2016, Turner has just one in the current campaign. But he was hitting the ball hard and deep frequently enough to assume that’d change.
Brett Eibner is back in L.A. to fill the open spot. Chris Taylor could fill in as Turner’s regular replacement, though Kiké Hernandez will serve that role Friday night. Logan Forsythe, who can also play third, should return from his own DL stint soon.
The Dodgers have suffered from a variety of injuries already, but none more damaging than losing Turner.
