Dodgers News: L.A. Makes Statement by Sweeping Rockies
There is only so much for someone to say without repeating themselves during this extended run of success.
The Dodgers had been receiving a little bit of flack for beating up on weaker team’s during their amazing streak. This weekend they made a huge statement that was topped with a very large exclamation point as they swept the Colorado Rockies who had been running the National League West since the beginning of the season.
Dodgers have won 41 of last 55 games. Since 1901, only 3 Dodgers teams have better streaks:
2013: 45-10 best
1953: 44-11
1955: 42-13— Eric Stephen (@ericstephen) June 26, 2017
Sunday’s game was maybe the wildest game that any Dodger fan has seen in years (pun intended).
At one point, the Dodgers were down 5-0, but did anyone actually believe that they were out of it? I would guess no after the numbers they have shown they could put up this season.
A home run by Kiké Hernandez started the scoring for the Dodgers and it was capped off by an RBI double from the CLOSER, Kenley Jansen.
Somehow, sandwiched between that, Cody Bellinger had ANOTHER multi-HR game and the Dodgers scored FIVE runs on wild pitches.

The team is giving off the feeling of magic that you see from a lot of teams that make deep playoff runs.
The Los Angeles Dodgers made their statement this weekend against the Colorado Rockies. They have won ten in a row and 15 out of 16.

Been watching and following baseball for over 50 years. Today’s Dodger game is the strangest game I can remember watching. Great win for Dodgers, horrible loss for Rox.
