Fortunately for Dodger fans, being able to see the games and hear legendary announcer Vin Scully call games for the last time in his career might become a reality.
Time Warner Cable announced it lowered it’s price per subscriber by 30 percent. It proposed to charge TV distributors $3.40 per subscriber rather than the original $4.90. It is still unclear if DirectTV or other TV distributors will accept the deal, but the Dodgers and it’s fans hope they do.
Okay @DIRECTV you did right by me & held the line on the ridiculously high priced SportsNet LA. Now it’s an okay price, give me my Dodgers.

Opening day is April 4th with the Dodgers opening day following on April 12th. Hopefully a deal can be reached by then.
We even asked on Twitter if fans believe a deal can be reached in time:

Still, the Dodgers have bigger problems on their hands dealing with a handful of injuries. The latest blow? Outfielder Andre Ethier being out 10-14 weeks.
Initial X-Rays were negative, but a follow up CT scan showed the fracture. No surgery will be needed. Expected recovery time is 10-14 weeks.

But some fans are not so quick to make a trade:
@DodgersNation No, don't sink the ship before it gets out of port. Regular season hasn't even started yet.

@DodgersNation A lot of people gonna say yes without thinking there's nothing really out there, and if there was it'd be for a huge overpay!
