Happy Leap Day! It seems special things happen on this day and it’s true. For one pitcher Yaisel Sierra finally arrives in Arizona, according to L.A. Times writer Andy McCollough.
While he is getting things started pitcher Kenta Maeda has been putting in work and impressing the higher-ups so much he is expected to start Saturday versus the Arizona Diamondbacks.

While Maeda is starting on Saturday, one Dodger we know won’t be there is third baseman Justin Turner who is still recovering from knee surgery. He is expected to miss the first week of games, but is on his way to be ready to face the San Diego Padres come opening day.
