Dodgers News: Miguel Rojas Exited Tuesday’s Game Early With an Injury

Dodgers shortstop Miguel Rojas exited Tuesday’s game against the Mets early. He was replaced by Luke Williams in the 5th inning with the bases loaded and two outs.

Rojas took a hard ground ball off the chest in the 1st inning, and appeared to be in some pain. However, he remained in the game, and lasted another four innings.

He also made a sprawling play up the middle in the 4th, attempting to throw out the speedy Francisco Lindor seated on the infield dirt.

After the game, we finally got word on what happened.

After another nagging lower body injury, there’s little chance we see him in the lineup this afternoon, which is good news for Mookie Betts who is lined up to make his first career start at shortstop. We’ll have more of an update later this morning.
