    1. Should be Bellinger but with Roberts love affair with Cody unfortunately it won’t happen.

      1. I’d think he also does have some options left but IDK for sure. Not a bad idea but like ya say, it won’t happen. If it’s a position player it’s between Lux, McKinney or Beaty., just a guess.

      2. I agree obviously we all know Cody is $$ but he’s struggling!! Let him go down now while his presence won’t be missed a lot and let him beat up on minor league pitching and get his chops back! There’s no shame in having to go down and straighten out your hitting glitch! Hopefully Dave makes the right decision on this one.

  1. My guess is McKinney, which would be sad in a way. He doesn’t hit much, but he has had some key pinch hits in this recent hot stretch and he does play a decent defensive RF.

  2. I am pulling for Bellinger but it appears he has not made adjustments to that pop up swing he has .

Perhaps his shoulder bothers him give him one more year .

  3. Why doesn’t Doc order him to bunt his way on? Anything on the ground on the left side could even be a double!

    1. Especially last night w/ 2 runners on and no outs. Needed to get RISP, stay out of the DP, and maybe w/ his speed beat it out for a hit. Sick and tired of his KO and those weakly slicing pop ups which obviously he has no clue why it’s consistently happening.

    2. Obviously that it is brilliant. Cody would most likely beat out any play. But Roberts is just looking for a homer from Bellinger hoping that would cure his slump, which by the way is going on 2 years and counting.

    3. Definitely agree with you, Sam!!!! It’s a shame Roberts acts more as manager than a buddy!!!

  4. Of Lux, McKinney or Beatty I think its Lux. All for just a short time, then September call-ups and everyone will be on deck for the final playoff push!

    1. I think this year 9nly 2 September call ups are Of 40
allowed….so only 28 in the dugout instead
