Dodgers News: Rich Hill, Grant Dayton Throw Bullpen Sessions

Two injured Dodgers took steps to returning Saturday.

Rich Hill and Grant Dayton played catch with each other, then threw bullpen sessions.

Hill wore a bandage on his blistered finger during the workout, per Andy McCullough of the Los Angeles Times. Hill is on his second DL stint of the season, both due to blisters.

Dayton, meanwhile, was recently placed on the DL with a left intercostal strain. He had already appeared in seven games this season, not allowing a run. Josh Fields was recalled in his place.

The Dodgers will tread delicately with Hill. Dayton is already missed after the bullpen allowed a nine-run inning against Arizona Friday.
