Dodgers News: Ryan Pepiot Raves About Fellow Rookie Bobby Miller
Throughout this Dodgers season, the team has relied upon multiple rookies to help keep them afloat. It’s not something that they hoped for when the season started, but they have been forced to maneuver as the year has gone on due to injuries and inconsistent play.
One of those rookies has been pitcher Bobby Miller, and he has shown that he is more than capable of performing in the big leagues.
His rise this season has really helped the team stabilize their starting rotation, and it has given them a first-hand look at the rookie up close.
Miller projects to be a part of the rotation in LA for years to come after his strong rookie season. He will also likely be with the team if they reach the postseason, possibly making a start.
LA has a ton of confidence in his abilities out on the mound, and his own teammates have raved about him this season. Pitcher Ryan Pepiot recently spoke about Miller with our very own Doug McKain! You can check out the entire video here!
“Bobby’s a stud. There’s not much more you can say about him. He’s just a stud. He’s fun to watch. He’s a competitor. He’s going to go out there and take the ball whenever he’s given the opportunity, he’s going to give everything he’s got. … You can’t really tell that Bobby’s only 23 when he’s out there. He plays a lot more mature. And it’s just really fun to watch.”

Pepiot may be young himself, but this is high praise from a teammate. This is a similar sentiment that Miller has received multiple times throughout his young career.
It’ll be interesting to see how Miller progresses down the stretch of the season and if he can perform effectively come playoff time.
