Dodgers News: Team Set To Activate Reliever Brian Wilson Today
After losing the finale to the Phillies yesterday afternoon, the Dodgers will take their talent to South Beach and play the Marlins in a four-game series starting this afternoon.
Hyun-Jin Ryu will start the series for the Dodgers who have won 10 of their last 11 and 42 of 51 overall. However, it sounds like they could be adding another arm to the impressive bullpen according to Ken Rosenthal of FoxSports.com:

Manager Don Mattingly has been very coy about the Dodgers plan with Wilson, but Ned Colletti said yesterday morning that he would join the active roster in the next day or two.
After signing with the Dodgers, Wilson spent time between Single-A and Triple-A and didn’t allow a single run. He then met the team in Philadelphia and threw a simulated game.
Wilson retired all four batters and Mattingly noted that he completed the entire checklist the Dodgers needed for him to accomplish before they were set to activate him. While Rosenthal’s tweet doesn’t mention which player is being sent down, Chris Withrow seems to be the likely candidate as he’s the only reliever that can go back down to the minors.
Adding Wilson to the bullpen mix will give Mattingly another arm to use late in the game and with Kenley Jansen pitching in so many games, he could also save some games.
Update from Ken Gurnick of Dodgers.com at 2:00 pm PST:
Scott Van Slyke back to Albuquerque to make room for activation of Brian Wilson.
