Dodgers News: Teammates Chip in for Chris Taylor’s Upcoming Charity Auction
This weekend, Dodgers All-Star utility man, Chris Taylor, will be hosting a charity golf event in his hometown of Virginia Beach, Virginia. The festivities will take place at the local TopGolf and will not only let people swing away at the same driving range as CT3, but also allow folks to join in on a great auction benefitting the Chris Taylor Foundation.
On Tuesday, the CT3 Foundation shared a sneak peek of some of the great items up for grabs in the auction. Some items, in this case, donated by teammates and even Dodgers part owner, Magic Johnson.
Also spotted in the bag are cleats signed by former teammate Corey Seager, a Pujols 55 Dodgers jersey signed by the future Hall of Famer, Albert Pujols, and a game worn helmet from Taylor himself. Additionally, fans can’t miss the signed Magic Johnson Lakers jersey.
If you can’t make it out to Virginia for the silent auction, no worries! The auction will be held online. All proceeds will benefit Children’s Hospital of The King’s Daughters and Roc Solid Foundation in support of the fight against pediatric cancer.
“Driving for Hope” is set to take place on Sunday, January 16th, 2022, from 12pm ET to 4pm ET. More information can be found here on the foundation’s website.
