Dodgers News: Tyler Anderson Activated as Roster Shuffles Ahead of Doubleheader
The Dodgers made a slew of roster moves to their pitching staff ahead of their scheduled doubleheader against the Diamondbacks.
All-Star SP Tyler Anderson was activated off the Paternity List, after his wife gave birth to their new son, Tucker. He’s scheduled to start the second game of the doubleheader.
#Dodgers Dave Roberts said Tyler Anderson is the proud papa of a new son, Tucker. Anderson is throwing a bullpen session at Camelback Ranch in AZ. Expected to travel to LA tomorrow and pitch one of the games in Tuesday's doubleheader (Michael Grove gets the other)

The Dodgers also optioned P Andre Jackson, who allowed 0 earned runs across his 2.2 innings pitched over the last 10 days. He fell one out short of finishing the 10th inning against the Giants on Sunday, but was backed up by Justin Bruihl who closed out the game.
Today's moves: The Dodgers have added RHP Ryan Pepiot as the 29th player for Game 1 of the doubleheader. The Dodgers also activated LHP Tyler Anderson from the paternity list and optioned RHP Andre Jackson.

Ryan Pepiot was also called back up as an extra arm for today’s two games. He’ll most likely eat up some innings today, potentially after Michael Grove opens the afternoon game. Pepiot has a 3.78 ERA across 33.1 innings this season.
