Dodgers News: Tyler Anderson Posts Heartfelt Thank You to LA Fans

It was tough to say goodbye to Tyler Anderson who inevitably signed a three-year contract with the Angels. The hole left by Anderson now causes concern for the Dodgers to sign a top tier pitcher in the off-season as Anderson’s production can’t be understated.

Anderson was one of the few bright spots in the Dodgers postseason pitching rotation before arguably being taken out too early in a win or go home game. During the regular season, Anderson pitched a 2.57 ERA to go with his 15-5 record.

The All-Star numbers are numbers that won’t easily be replicated and fans will surely miss Anderson’s presence. The Dodgers set a franchise record in wins with huge help from Anderson and it’s something he will cherish for the rest of his career despite playing just one season with the team.

Anderson took to Instagram to wish a heartfelt goodbye as he honored the Dodgers for taking a chance on him and the fans for welcoming his family with open arms into the LA spotlight.

It took just 30 games for Anderson to be a household name among MLB pitchers and he will surely make a huge impact for the Angels. His time with the Dodgers most likely has come to an end but if Anderson were to ever decide to come back the Dodgers will welcome him with open arms.

For now, Dodgers fans wish Anderson to find the success he’s looking for as long as it doesn’t come at the demise of their own team.
