Dodgers News: Zach McKinstry Scratched With a Neck Issue

The Dodgers and Braves will look to decide the series tonight in Atlanta. Tony Gonsolin gets the ball in search of his 10th win of the season, and he goes up against a good righty in Spencer Strider.

The original lineup did feature Zach McKinstry in the outfield, his first start since being called back up. But the Dodgers had to remove him last minute and go with Trayce Thompson for the third consecutive game.

McKinstry was removed with a neck issue, per the Dodgers. They’ll look to get going again against Strider, who can give up runs in bunches.

Other Dodgers News

The Dodgers have a tough call to make with their bullpen, but a change in closer is apparently not on the table. Dave Roberts said they will not be going away from Craig Kimbrel in the 9th inning despite some atrocious outings, most recently allowing 2 runs to give away the game on Sunday.
