The Los Angeles Dodgers finally have their opponent for the NLCS.
In a winner-take-all Game 5 of the NLDS, the Milwaukee Brewers took down the Chicago Cubs, 3-1, on Saturday evening to advance. The Brew Crew will now prepare to take on the defending champions in a seven-game series.

The Brewers finished with the best record in baseball at 97-65. Milwaukee had a run differential of plus-172 this season, which was also the best in MLB. They beat the Dodgers all six times that the two powerhouses met this season.
Milwaukee took an early lead on Saturday via a first inning solo home run from William Contreras, but the Cubs immediately responded in the top of the second inning. Seiya Suzuki hit a dinger of his own on the second pitch he saw to tie things at 1-1.
The Brewers responded with an Andrew Vaughn solo shot in the bottom of the fourth to go up 2-1, and another long ball in the seventh made it 3-1. A Brice Turang no doubter on the first pitch he saw traveled 416 feet to emphasize the win.
Game 1 of the NLCS begins on Monday, Oct. 13, at 5:08 p.m. PT. Since the Brewers are the No. 1 seed in the National League, the first two games will be at American Family Field in Milwaukee. Game 2 will be Tuesday, Oct. 14, also at 5:08 p.m. PT.
The series will head to Los Angeles for Games 3 and 4 (and 5 if necessary). Game 3 is set for Thursday, Oct. 16, and Game 4 will be played on Friday, Oct. 17. The would-be Game 5 is slated for Saturday, Oct. 18.
If the series requires a Game 6 or 7, those will both take place back in Milwaukee. Game 6 is scheduled for Monday, Oct. 20, and Game 7 would be Tuesday, Oct. 21.

Move Shohei to third up, he’ll still get as many at bats but could help with the Strikeouts!
That gives more of an incentive for Mookie and Friedman to get on base anyway they can especially in the early innings. Shohei can See how the opposing Pitcher is attacking.
