The Los Angeles Dodgers took a dramatic, extra-innings win against the Philadelphia Phillies on Thursday to advance to the NLCS for the fourth time in six seasons.
The Dodgers took a 2-1 win against the Phillies in the 11th inning after relief pitcher Orion Kerkering threw away a ground ball with the bases loaded.

The broadcast schedule for the opening three days of the ALCS and NLCS have been announced, and the Dodgers will play at different times depending on which team will meet them in the NLCS.
If the Milwaukee Brewers advance to face the Dodgers, Game 1 of the series will be held on Monday, Oct. 13 at 5:08 p.m. PT. That game would take place in Milwaukee, as the Brewers hold the No. 1 seed in the National League. The second game of the series would come on Oct. 14, also at 5:08 p.m. PT at American Family Field.
If the Cubs win the NLDS, the Dodgers will have home field advantage for the series, as they are the No. 3 seed and the Cubs are No. 4. Similar to the other scenario, the opening game of the series will come on Oct. 13, though will take place at 4:08 p.m. PT.
Game 2 will be on Oct. 14 at 5:08 p.m. PT at Dodger Stadium if the Cubs advance.
Who Are Dodgers Playing in NLCS?
The Dodgers will play either the Cubs or Brewers in the NLCS.
The Dodgers have had much more success over the Cubs than the Brewers this season, though they still lost four of their seven games against the North Siders. The Dodgers won the first three games of the matchup this season, but lost four straight as the season progressed. They haven’t seen the Cubs since April 23.
The Brewers, on the other hand, took all six of their matchups against the Dodgers this season, and are definitely the worse of the two matchups for LA due to the lack of home field advantage. The Brewers outscored the Dodgers, 31-16, and held the Dodgers to two runs or fewer in four of the six games.
Regardless of their opponent in the next series, the Dodgers are getting hot at the right time. Their starting pitching has been superb throughout the first six games of the postseason — winning five of their games — and they will have Shohei Ohtani or Blake Snell lined up to pitch Game 1.
