Dodgers Notes: All-Star Unfortunately Placed on IL, LA to Call Up Hitter, Yasiel Puig Comeback?

The Los Angeles Dodgers have been on cloud nine with the best start in MLB history for a defending champion at 8-0, but have unfortunately had to place an All-Star on the injured list Thursday. He has already missed five games this season, but the move to the IL will lead to new talent coming up from the farm briefly.

The new talent in question can be a number of potential players from the minor league pool. Dalton Rushing has been a Triple-A star with a major league-level bat and rumored to be on his way for quite some time as Hyeseong Kim has had a solid Triple-A showing thus far and may be ready to return to the team. They could also go with a non-roster invite, or someone more proven at the MLB level.

Speaking of a talented player looking to rejoin the league, Yasiel Puig is attempting a MLB comeback. The Cuban-born former-Dodger was a fan-favorite with his eccentric personality and knack for power hitting.
