Dodgers Notes: Juan Soto Update, Shohei Ohtani Eyes Another World Series, 4 Dodgers Receive MVP Votes and more
Teams will begin submitting offers to Juan Soto and his representatives this week, according to ESPN’s Buster Olney. Soto has already met with several teams to establish connections including the Los Angeles Dodgers, who are among the clubs showing interest in the Dominican star.
Shohei Ohtani, newly crowned National League MVP, is already eyeing another title. After helping the Dodgers win the World Series, Ohtani told The Orange County Register his focus is on repeating the feat. Currently rehabbing from shoulder surgery, he’s working to get stronger and ready for next season.
Ohtani was the unanimous winner of the 2024 National League MVP, but he wasn’t the only Dodger recognized. Teammates Freddie Freeman, Mookie Betts, and Teoscar Hernández also received votes for the award.
