Dodgers Notes: LA Adds Infielder From Yankees, Max Muncy to IL, Ex-Dodger Retires

The Los Angeles Dodgers beat the Chicago White Sox, 6-2, on Thursday evening. L.A. completed the sweep and moved to 56-32 on the year.

In other news, the Dodgers added an infielder from the New York Yankees earlier in the day. In a corresponding move, an outfielder was designated for assignment.

Unfortunately, Max Muncy was placed on the injured list following a scary collision at third base on Wednesday. A speedy outfielder has replaced the All-Star third baseman on the roster while he takes time to recover.

Finally, a former Dodgers outfielder has retired from the game of baseball. The surprising move puts an end to a 13-year tenure in The Show.
