The Los Angeles Dodgers officially announced their signing of All-Star outfielder Kyle Tucker on Wednesday, and with him came plenty of news surrounding the team.
To make room for Tucker on the roster, the Dodgers designated outfielder Michael Siani for assignment. The Dodgers had claimed Siani off waivers from the Atlanta Braves earlier in the offseason.
Furthermore, manager Dave Roberts spoke about Tucker’s potential spot in the Dodgers’ lineup for the upcoming season.
Roberts clarified Tucker would displace All-Star Teoscar Hernandez in right field, and would most likely bat in the second or third spot in the lineup.
