The Los Angeles Dodgers are linked to a pitcher as the trade deadline is about one month away. The right-hander could do a lot for a Dodgers team that is currently down three main rotational pieces, with many other on the pitching roster shelved on the injured list.
Additionally, San Diego Padres manager Mike Shildt made yet another comment regarding the recent series with the Dodgers. The Friars’ skipper hopes that the next time the two teams play each other will be more “clean” than what transpired in L.A.
Finally, superstar Shohei Ohtani has started two games on the pitcher’s mound in a Dodgers uniform and is keeping pace to have another MVP-caliber year on offense. The unicorn still believes that he can be even better on both sides of the ball than he was with the Los Angeles Angels.
