Dodgers Notes: LA Makes Roster Move, Kiké Hernandez Free Agent Update, 5 Moves to Break Baseball

The Los Angeles Dodgers made a roster move on Tuesday, adding left-handed pitcher Ronan Kopp to the 40-man roster, protecting him from the Rule 5 draft. He had a 3.43 ERA across 49 relief appearances in Double-A and Triple-A last season.

In other news, the Dodgers have a few key free agents this offseason, one of them being longtime fan favorite Kiké Hernandez. The utility man recently underwent surgery that will keep out of the World Baseball Classic, but reportedly wants to return to LA next season.

In other free agency news, the Dodgers have reportedly shown interest in a top international pitcher interested in coming to MLB. The Taiwanese pitcher is also reportedly considering playing in Japan in Nippon Professional Baseball.

Finally, while the Dodgers don’t necessarily need to make any major moves this offseason, Dodgers Nation’s Doug McKain discussed five moves that could make LA “break baseball” this offseason.
