Dodgers Notes: LA Makes Trade, Tyler Glasnow Suffers Setback, Mookie Betts Return Revealed

The Los Angeles Dodgers lost to the New York Mets, 4-3, in a 10-inning thriller on Monday night. L.A. fell to 36-24 on the year as they lost the first of a four-game set with the Mets.

Ahead of the extra-innings loss, the Dodgers made a trade with the Seattle Mariners. Right-handed pitching help was added to a Dodgers team that desperately needs depth in the pitching department.

Speaking of pitchers, Tyler Glasnow is unfortunately ‘not responding’ to his throwing progression. He is still playing catch, but he took a step back as he felt sore after his first bullpen session recently.

Finally, Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said Mookie Betts will return to the lineup on Tuesday. He’s missed the last four games after suffering a fracture in his toe.
