Dodgers Notes: Major Injury Updates, Roki Sasaki Future Contract Prediction, Blake Snell Illness

The Los Angeles Dodgers lost to the Arizona Diamondbacks, 5-3, on Thursday evening as they dropped to a 25-13 record in the first of their four-game set in Phoenix.

Part of the inconsistency in the Dodgers’ recent games is due to the massive number of stars on the injured list. There are a few updates on some of their key pitchers and hitters currently serving time on the IL.

Additionally, Roki Sasaki had a recent contract prediction from one of baseball’s best minds that would make him upwards of $200 million. He is currently making just the minimum a player debuting overseas can make who is under the age of 25.

In more pitching news, Blake Snell suffered an unfortunate setback on his road to recovery from a shoulder injury. A Dodgers insider reported the reason why he was recently away from the team.
