The Los Angeles Dodgers have their opponent set for the World Series in the Toronto Blue Jays, and on Tuesday, manager Dave Roberts announced the defending champions’ starting pitchers for Games 1 and 2. The rotation was nothing short of electric during the NLCS, and they will hope to keep up their productive innings on the biggest stage yet.
In other news, the Dodgers have an injury update on Tanner Scott. The southpaw reliever was replaced by Justin Wrobleski on the NLDS roster and is hoping to return for the World Series.
Finally, Chicago Cubs free agent outfielder Kyle Tucker has been linked to the Dodgers — among other contenders — ahead of what should be an exciting offseason. The Dodgers showed a lack of depth and production in the outfield at many points this season, and a four-time All-Star would prove to be an incredible (and expensive) solution.
