The Los Angeles Dodgers took down the Milwaukee Brewers, 5-1, on Tuesday evening to take a 2-0 lead in the NLCS. Yoshinobu Yamamoto pitched a complete game, with his only earned run coming from a solo home run on the first pitch of the night.
The ace struck out seven and walked just one batter, allowing three hits across his 111 pitches.
In other news, right-hander Roki Sasaki had a drop in his velocity during his performance in Game 1. Manager Dave Roberts revealed that his team is still trying to figure out why there was a decrease in speed, but doesn’t seem to be too concerned about the young right-hander.
