Dodgers Players and Coaches Encourage Californians to Get Vaccinated With Video

The Dodgers have already reached their required COVID-19 vaccination rate of 85 percent. That mark was set by MLB to encourage players and coaches to keep each other healthy and safe. Because they reached that mark, they are able to enjoy more freedoms around the clubhouse and dugout, like not wearing a mask.

And now, the Dodgers are hoping that Californians can do their part to combat COVID-19. The team released a video encouraging residents to get vaccinated and to visit the myturn.ca.gov website to find out how they are able to.

Dodgers players and coaches all made an appearance in the video. That includes Dave Roberts, David Price. and Julio Urias. You won’t to miss Price’s words of encouragement.

We would also very much like to see David Price hit his first homerun in front of 50,000+ Dodgers fans at Chavez Ravine. For more information on the COVID-19 vaccine, you can visit the LA County Department of Public Health here.

The Dodgers are set to welcome back fans at full capacity starting June 15th. The team has a special celebration planned for that day, with a sort of “New Opening Day” idea in place. It’s been a long time since we’ve been able to pack out the stadium, and it’s going to be great to see every seat filled.
