The Lakers have spent the last couple of months playing and living in the NBA bubble in Orlando. The Dodgers just recently entered a bubble of their own, but it has been much different than how basketball has operated. Once baseball heads to the division series, teams will enter a more restrictive bubble based on their regions. The Dodgers would presumably go to Texas after they finish up their Wild Card Series.

To get to where they are now, the Lakers had to defeat the Trailblazers to start off the postseason. They then moved onto the Houston Rockets and Denver Nuggets, two teams they easily took down to get to the Finals.
