Dodgers Podcast: Off Air with Joe and Orel Episode 3 with Clayton Kershaw is a Treat!

After Dodgers play-by-play man Joe Davis teased an upcoming podcast with broadcast partner Orel Hershiser — and later confirmed on our Blue Heaven Podcast — an excitement swept over Dodgers Nation.

It turns out that excitement was well merited.

The best-friend duo of Bulldog and Joe dropped episode 3 of “Off-Air” on Thursday, welcoming their first official guest in Clayton Kershaw for a highly anticipated chat with the Dodgers long time ace.

As noted in the podcast description, Joe and Orel get caught up on Kershaw’s time in quarantine and talk about how he’s staying fresh while the season is on hold. They also touch on his charity work, career and wrap up with a series of rapid-fire questions about his teammates.

Importantly, Orel and Kersh talk about putting on the Dodger uniform and keeping it on, but how contracts and even trade rumors can get in the way — a topic near and dear to the heart of the Bulldog.

Just three episodes in and the podcast has already become a must-download amongst Dodger faithful. Moreover, after a heartfelt discussion about the Astros cheating scandal left Hershiser emotional last week, this week their time with Kershaw did not disappoint as a follow up episode.

The podcast is available on iTunes, Spotify, Google Podcasts and more.
