Dodgers Predicted to Be Among 4 Serious Kyle Tucker Suitors in Free Agency

The Los Angeles Dodgers are predicted to be among the teams who will be going in on a chance to sign outfielder Kyle Tucker this offseason.

LA is looking as strong as ever given the fact that they are four wins away from becoming baseball’s first back-to-back champions in a quarter century, but the outfield was easily the weakest part of the Dodgers’ offense this season.

MLB.com’s Mark Feinsand linked the Dodgers, New York Yankees, San Francisco Giants, and Philadelphia Phillies to the slugging outfielder, and there is quite a case for each team.

Tucker, a four-time All-Star, finished last season hitting .266 with an OPS of .841, adding 22 home runs and 75 RBIs. He didn’t have his best stats in 2025, but dealt with a hairline fracture in his hand suffered in June and a calf strain in September.

With Michael Conforto being brought in on a one-year, $17 million deal, he proved to be one of the biggest disappointments for LA. The veteran had a slash line of .199/.305/.333 and an OPS of .637, adding his lowest home run total (12) and RBI total (36) since the COVID-impacted 2020 season.

Teoscar Hernández, despite being electrifying in the postseason thus far (four home runs and an .888 OPS), had a down year during regular season play.

The right fielder hit .247 this season, his lowest batting average since 2019 as a member of the Toronto Blue Jays. His OPS+ of 103 was also the lowest it has been since that same season. Although Hernández had a career-best 33 home runs season in 2024, it was followed by an underwhelming mark of 25 this season, which is nothing to bat an eye at, but still the 33-year-old’s lowest since 2022.

Defensively, Hernández is unimpressive with an Outs Above Average ranking in just the third percentile of MLB (-9). Conforto isn’t much better, grading out in the fifth percentile of Outs Above Average (-8).

Although Tucker wouldn’t be acquired for his defense, he ranks in the 26th percentile in that regard.
