The Los Angeles Dodgers’ decision to remove Tyler Glasnow from Game 4 of the NLDS in the top of the seventh inning quickly backfired.

Glasnow was cruising through six innings, allowing just two hits and three walks with eight strikeouts. However, Dodgers manager Dave Roberts decided to pull Glasnow, bringing in Emmet Sheehan in a 0-0 game. Glasnow was at 83 pitches.
Sheehan gave up a leadoff bloop single and then couldn’t field a ball at first base on a potential double play. A Nick Castellanos RBI double gave the Phillies a 1-0 lead.
Sheehan was able to limit the damage, retiring the next two batters to end the inning. However, it put the Phillies on the board in a game where offense has been at a premium.
Dodger fans didn’t seem to agree with Roberts’ decision to remove Glasnow from the game on social media.
