Dodgers Pummel Padres, Clinch Postseason, Justin Turner Owns Musgrove, Heaney Bounces Back

The Dodgers beat down on the Padres by a final of 11-2 and clinched a postseason tie-breaker along the way. Andrew Heaney was as Andrew Heaney as ever, striking out multiple batters (6) and allowing runs on home runs (2 HR) over his solid 5 innings of work.

LA was chasing early but got to San Diego ace Joe Musgrove in the 5th inning and blew things wide open in the 6th and 7th. Justin Turner, who isn’t really a threat, connect on a 2-run bomb off Musgrove and added insult to SD injury with a 7th inning grand slam off of Craig Stammen.

The Dodgers increased their lead in the NL West to 20 games and plainly made the Padres look bad.

After the game, fans shared their thoughts and reactions on another edition of the DNpostgame show.
