The Dodgers have now revealed he left Sunday’s game with right shoulder discomfort. This is the second consecutive start that Glasnow has left the game early due to an injury.

Glasnow’s last start against the Texas Rangers was cut short because of leg cramps. Sunday’s departure was obviously something different, and perhaps more concerning.

Glasnow left after just 17 pitches. As he was warming up ahead of the top of the second, he was seen shaking out his arm. The right-hander gave up two earned runs and a walk before making his untimely departure.

Manager Dave Roberts said there was no concern regarding Glasnow’s health status heading into Sunday’s game against the Pittsburgh Pirates.

“For me and the training staff, there’s no concern going into this start,” he said. “He did an IV yesterday, just kind of getting his body hydrated, all the work leading up to today is good.”

  1. What a disaster that trade was. Snell and once again Glasgnow. Medical staff should be fired. Stop signing or trading for these guys and just get pitchers who are durable and give you six innings.

  2. Glasnow is like a fragile little China doll. Every time he pitches, he gets hurt. So far, he’s been huge a disappointment.
He’ll probably go down as one of Friedman’s worst signings.

That one keeps popping into my head the more Muncy strikes out and seems to
be unable to field his position…

  3. We warned you about this head case, drama queen, Tyler “Made of Glass” now! Add Fat Max Muncy and Michael Conforto to the list of Dpodgers that shouldn’t be Dodgers. Muncy is Roberts’ “pet.” Let’s face it folks, he’s an awful 3rd baseman. We’ve watched him falling all over himself to field grounders, and fumbling the ball as he tries to grip it and throw it accurately. He’s hitting .167, and is a strikeout waiting to happen. Tell us why he should take a spot on the Dodgers’ roster? And to think they traded Michael Busch, and kept Muncy! We also wrote, a couple of months ago, that the inept Dodgers player personnel department should find a way to get a real 3rd baseman, who can also hit, All Star & Gold Glover, Nolan Arenado, who wanted/wants to play for the Dodgers, his home town team. Instead, LA’s front office geniuses spent $17 mil on Michael Conforto, who can’t play defense, and is hitting .179. Interestingly, the Dodgers originally signed O’NEIL CRUZ, an International free agent, in 2015, and traded him to Pittsburgh. They did the same with international free agent, All Star, YORDAN ALVAREZ, and traded him to the Astros. Both players are 26-27 and coming into their prime. With these early season issues unfolding, LA’s cheerleader manager, Dave Roberts, rolls the ball out to his players, and stoically sits on his corner bench perch, eating sunflower seeds!

  4. Glasnow is a quitter and a wusp. Whenever things are going against him he finds a way to make excuses to be injured. You can see it whenever he starts getting hit hard (like in that 1st inning). He’s a wimp that cannot fight adversity when it happens.
