Dodgers: Rich Hill Thinks This Could Be the Best LA Team Ever
There are few guys who made a bigger impact on Dodgers fans in a shorter time than Rich Hill. In his 3.5 seasons with Los Angeles, Hill won over the hearts of fans everywhere who continue to root for him to this day.
Now with the Mets, Hill made his return to Chavez Ravine over the weekend and even pitched on Sunday. The former Dodgers pitcher spoke with am570’s Dave Vassegh on Saturday and had plenty of kind words about his former team.
Hill went as far as to say that the current team might be the best Dodgers rosters ever. And that’s really saying something considering the Dodger teams that Hill was part of from 2016 all the way through 2019.
You see the team now, this is quite the lineup. In my opinion, it could be one of the best they’ve ever had. With the additions of Max Scherzer and Trea Turner and just bolstering the starting rotation. And also just the infield with the lineup. You look around and see guys like Mookie Betts who are coming back off of the IL, probably Monday hopefully not tomorrow(Sunday).
Hill reference the trade with the Nationals that brought Max Scherzer and Trea Turner to the Dodgers. And he’s right, they’re a pretty powerful roster with those 2 guys slotted in. Even with guys still on the injured list, they’re a huge threat to any team in the league.

And the Dodgers showed it during Richie’s start on Sunday. Trea Turner took him deep to start the game and Los Angeles won the game 4-3. But Rich managed to find a way to shove for 5 innings and keep the Mets in it. We love you Rich, never change.
