Dodgers Rumors: FOX Sports Reports Trade Involving Right-hander Erasmo Ramirez
The Los Angeles Dodgers are in talks of a trade with the Tampa Bay Rays involving right-hand pitcher Erasmo Ramirez.
To say the least, the Los Angeles Dodgers have had their troubles with their pitching rotation this season thus far. Recently, Clayton Kershaw had to leave the team in Pittsburgh and fly back to Los Angeles for an examination due to his back stiffness.

The Dodgers are struggling without their established pitchers and according to Ken Rosenthal of FOXSports.com the team hopes that Ramirez can be a stopgap for it’s rotation.
Ramirez has pitched for Tampa Bay since 2012. Making only one start for the Rays this season, he appeared as a reliever in 30 of his 31 appearances. The 26-year-old was a solid starter last season where he had an 11-6 record and a 3.51 ERA in 151.1 innings.
There is no word yet on Kershaw’s status but he is still scheduled to start on Friday’s game against the Colorado Rockies.
