  1. Although their 2021 numbers are a little better, we are looking at a starter with a lifetime ERA+ of 106 and a reliever with a lifetime ERA+ of 110. Hard not to feel all warm and fuzzy about those potential additions.

  2. I agree. I still think if Clayton comes back all the way we are good to go with 4 starters for the playoffs, as you only need 4. The problem is, no one knows what happens beyond July 30. 2 full months of regular season is an eternity before playoffs start

  3. The only guy they are talking about that i am confident is better than Price and Gonsolin is Scherzer. I’m fine giving Gray some starts til Kershaw gets back, he has good stuff and is poised. Only issue is depth to cover any injuries so if they can find someone on the cheap for depth, go for it. I’d rather see a major bullpen piece like Kimbrell, those blown saves to the Giants doesn’t bode well for the post season.
