Dodgers Score: Live Game Updates and Odds vs Rays on Saturday, Kershaw/Glasnow, Outman Benched

After losing two in a row, the Dodgers look to get back in the win column with Clayton Kershaw back on the mound for the first time since returning from the bereavement list. The Rays, who beat LA 9-3 on Friday, send Tyler Glasnow to the mound for his first start of the season after battling the injury bug since undergoing Tommy John surgery in 2021.

It should be a fun rematch of game 5 of the 2020 World Series.

Here’s a look at the lineup Dave Roberts is sending out against the Tampa Bay right-hander.

We see a similar but slightly rearranged lineup from what was run out there yesterday. The top of the lineup is the same with Mookie Betts, Freddie Freeman and Will Smith in their usual spots. J.D. Martinez remains moved up ahead of the struggling Max Muncy in the lineup. The biggest change is rookie James Outman is on the bench as Jason Heyward gets the start in center field.

David Peralta starts in left and Miguel Rojas at shortstop.

Pitching Matchup

Clayton Kershaw is coming off back to back rough starts where he’s allowed a combined 6 runs and 12 hits over his 7.2 innings. Dave Roberts said Clayton has been dealing with all over body fatigue but feels in a much better spot coming back to the team.

Kersh hasn’t pitched too much against Rays over his career, with 4 career starts between the regular and postseason, going 4-0 with a 2.08 ERA over 26 innings.

Tyler Glasnow is making his season debut. In the past against the Dodgers, he’s struggled against the Dodgers allowing 16 earned runs over 13.1 combined innings in the regular and postseason.
