Dodgers Score: Live Game Updates and Odds vs Twins on Monday, Syndergaard/Lopez, Correa in LA

The Dodgers go for win number 6 in a row on Mookie Betts bobblehead night at Dodger Stadium. The Minnesota Twins come to town for three games and bring some old friends (Kenta Maeda, Kyle Farmer, Brock Stewart, Joey Gallo) along with them… they also bring a long-time villain, Carlos Correa.

Noah Syndergaard (1-3, 6.12 ERA) puts his glued up finger to the test against a middle of the pack offense that has posted a the 16th-best — or 15th-worst — OPS in baseball. The Twins counter with former Marlin Pablo Lopez (2-2, 3.46 ERA).

Dodgers manager Dave Roberts sends out the A lineup against Lopez.

Will Smith is back in the lineup at catcher after a day game off. The Dodgers are 12-1 in games he’s started since returning from the injured list. Mookie Betts is in his usual leadoff spot in the order and playing out in right field. James Outman gets the night off with Jason Heyward out in center field. David Peralta fills out the outfield in left.

Miguel Rojas starts at shortstop.

Pitching Matchup

Syndergaard looks to make his first uninterrupted start in more than three weeks. The right-hander skipped a turn in the rotation to work on some mechanical issues before his finger blew up on him in Milwaukee last week. He’s only faced the Twins one other time in his career, allowing 4 runs on 5 hits over 7 innings.

Lopez came to Minnesota in an offseason blockbuster trade and has been a nice addition to first place Twins. He’s had some success against the Dodgers in the past, with a 1-0 record and 3.00 ERA in 3 previous starts.
