Dodgers Score: Live Game Updates vs Padres on Friday, Kershaw/Darvish, Rojas at Shortstop

It’s show time! The Dodgers (19-13) are in San Diego to face the Padres (17-15) for the first of 13 head to head games this season. NL Pitcher of the Month Clayton Kershaw (5-1, 1.89 ERA) takes the ball for LA against Yu Darvish (1-2, 3.60 ERA) and the Pads. The Dodgers are riding a season-high 6 game win streak and hold a 1.5 game lead over the Arizona Diamondbacks and 2 game lead over the Padres in the NL West.

Here’s a look at the lineup Dave Roberts is sending out to face the 5-time All-Star.

Kershaw gets LA’s best possible defense behind him with Miguel Rojas starting at shortstop, Jason Heyward in center, and James Outman in left field. Mookie Betts is back in right field and David Peralta starts at DH with J.D. Martinez still sidelined with a lower back strain. Peralta has a .417 lifetime average against Darvish with 3 home runs and 5 RBI.
