The Los Angeles Dodgers will be getting one of their injured relief pitchers back this week.
Right-handed pitcher Luis García joined the team in Colorado for their series against the Colorado Rockies. Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said García will be reactivated from the 15-day IL sometime this week, per The Orange County Register.

García last pitched for the Dodgers on May 26 against the Cleveland Guardians, where he struck out one batter and allowed three hits and two runs in a single inning.
Los Angeles placed García on the 15-day IL with a right adductor strain on June 1. He started a rehab assignment with Class-A Rancho Cucamonga on June 22.
García has made one rehab start, pitching a scoreless inning and throwing just nine pitches.
The Dodgers signed García to a minor league deal in February. In his first season with Los Angeles, he holds a 2-0 record while logging a 4.50 ERA and 23 strikeouts through 26 appearances.
García came to Los Angeles entering his 13th season in MLB. He has pitched for the Boston Red Sox, Philadelphia Phillies, Los Angeles Angels, Texas Rangers, St. Louis Cardinals and San Diego Padres.

In addition to García, relievers Blake Treinen, Evan Phillips and Brusdar Graterol are on the injured list. Phillips underwent Tommy John surgery on June 4 and will not return this season.
Meanwhile, Treinen and Graterol could return sometime in 2025. Treinen is nearing the end of his recovery from a right forearm sprain from April and might return sometime in July. Graterol is recovering from right shoulder surgery and may be able to pitch again in September.
The Dodgers rely heavily on their bullpen, utilizing relief pitchers in an MLB-leading 354 innings this season. As a whole, the Los Angeles bullpen has posted a 4.32 ERA, and their 3.1 WAR ranks sixth across MLB.
The return of García will add more depth to an already reliable bullpen.
