Dodgers Social: Rookies Dress Up As Cheerleaders
The Dodgers have been extremely hot as of late, managing to get to a season high 5 games ahead of the Giants. Unfortunately, the boys in blue lost the series finale with the Marlins 3-0, making the lead 3 games; however, the team found a way to lighten the mood.
Sunday was Rookie Dress Up Day and the Dodgers decided to go with blue cheerleading outfits with sparkling names on the back. Let’s take a look at some of the highlights!

Though Yasiel Puig is far from a rookie, he was apart of the September call ups. Thus, the Dodgers saw it fit to include him in the fun and he did not disappoint!

And if all of that wasn’t enough, Kenta Maeda blessed us with a video of the rookies taking to the streets of New York! I think Julio Urias is having just a little too much fun!
The Dodgers definitely needed this after losing the series in Miami and being shutout on Sunday. Their next series will be with New York, which will begin on Monday. Hopefully they used Rookie Dress Up Day as a way to head into the Yankees series with fresh, positive minds!
