PAGES: 1 | 2 | 3 | 4 | 5 Los Angeles Dodgers players were back on the field Monday for the fifth official workout of Spring Training at the club's Camelback Ranch complex. While only pitchers and catchers were required to be in camp by this point, several position players reported early. On Monday, the list of players who checked into camp before being expected grew to include the likes of Andre Ethier, Howie Kendrick and Jimmy Rollins. For Kendrick and Rollins, it's the first time in their respective careers they've reported to camp with a new team. Ethier of course is a veteran with the Dodgers, though enters the spring without much certainty regarding his role. Amid trade rumors, he said in December his desire was to remain in Los Angeles as a starting outfielder. Whether he'll earn a starting job remains to be seen, but he's with the Dodgers for at least the time being. Kenley Jansen also arrived at Camelback Ranch, technically late but clearly excused due to undergoing surgery on his left foot last week. Dodgers photographer Jon SooHoo has been at camp with the team and already provided plenty of gems of players during their workouts. Ryu lost a ton of weight! And Greinke looks like the lead singer of a rock band.
Yea he looks like a whole other person!
Ryu began training early this year and said this is the best shape he’s been in during his time with the Dodgers. Hopefully it’ll pay off during the season.
That’s awesome! Oh, and thanks for posting these well-written articles and keeping us all up to date!
Can’t wait to see the 3 top prospects perform this spring!
