The Los Angeles Dodgers hosted the Chicago White Sox in their final Cactus League game on Tuesday afternoon. The White Sox took a 2-0 lead into the fourth inning, and were threatening to add to that lead.

With two outs and Connor Gillaspie on first, catcher Geovany Soto hit a line drive single to right field. Gillaspie then found out what many others have found out in the past: Yasiel Puig has a cannon.

Gillaspie tried to go first-to-third on the single, and Puig threw a perfect one-hop line drive throw to Juan Uribe at third, who then tagged out Gillaspie to end the inning.

Puig’s 15 outfield assists in 2014 ranked second in the MLB behind fellow Cuban Yoenis Cespedes (16). This perfect throw to get Gillaspie and end the fourth inning was his second assist of the spring so far.
