Dodgers: Step Into the Batter’s Box With Clayton Kershaw

It’s not every day that you get to step into the batter’s box with a big league pitcher. But that’s part of the beauty of the All-Star Game. With so much talent on the field, they make sure to get you every angle possible. That includes this wild view of Dodgers pitcher Clayton Kershaw striking out Aaron Judge

With the umpire’s camera attached and ready to go, Kershaw threw a nasty slider to the Yankees’ slugger. The Dodgers pitcher would pitch a scoreless 1st inning despite allowing some traffic early on. But a pickoff of Shohei Ohtani really got the crowd going.

The Dodgers have a whole lot of visitors from out of town this week. That includes the Braves and their mascot, Blooper. He had a little bit of fun visiting Dodger Stadium on Monday afternoon, and he spent his time trolling the 2020 World Series win. 

Clayton Kershaw finally gets to start an All-Star Game. After 8 selections to the National League squad, he finally gets his chance to start the Mid-Summer Classic. And he sounds incredibly thankful for the opportunity to do so, even if he thinks there were guys having better seasons.
