Dodgers: The News Gets Worse for the Injured Blake Treinen
Don’t expect workhorse reliever Blake Treinen back with the Dodgers any time soon. He last made an appearance for LA back on April 14th and has only pitched three times total all season. Treinen is on the injured list dealing with a shoulder issue that’s turned into a much bigger problem than expected.
#Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said Blake Treinen’s shoulder is still bothering him. He’s going to visit a doctor to get more tests done.

Treinen will be heading back to Los Angeles to see a doctor on Monday. Dave Roberts said the pitcher will be getting an MRI.
“The arm still doesn’t feel good,” OC Register’s Bill Plunkett reported. “It’s obviously more than we initially thought. Clearly.”
The right-hander made a team-high 72 appearances in 2021, posting a 1.99 ERA over 72.1 innings pitched. He’s in the final year of a two-year deal inked before the 2021 season.
