The long friendship between Dodgers pitcher Clayton Kershaw and Rams QB Matthew Stafford is well-known. The story made its way through news headlines for weeks after Stafford was traded to Los Angeles.
Among many things, fans got to find out that Kershaw spent time as an offensive lineman protecting Stafford. This was back in high school when the two stars attended Highland Park. As it turns out, Stafford has a lot of stories about our favorite Dodgers pitcher.

I can’t really remember too much from freshman football, to be honest with you. But he got kicked out of a game once for sticking up for me. Yeah, a guy hit me late and he retaliated. So I appreciate the love, he always had my back.
