Edman said his ankle is feeling “much better” than days prior and has received treatment daily, per The Athletic’s Fabian Ardaya. He will go through a workout Friday, and if all goes well, could return to the lineup the following day.
Edman tweaked his ankle on a slide in Tuesday’s win over the Miami Marlins, but the Dodgers said his absence from the lineup is no cause for concern.
The NLCS MVP is slashing .252/.295/.523 with eight home runs, 24 RBIs, and an OPS of .818.
The Dodgers lead the NL West at 21-10, and hope to continue their success on a 10-game road trip that begins in Atlanta.
